Springtime brings out some amazing colors - especially on cacti. Cactus flowers have to be some of the most brilliant on the planet. We have a bunch of different type cacti at home and every spring they put on an fabulous display. I decided to do a series of watercolors starring these brilliant flowers. Here is a study for two of the cacti, a Red Claret Cup and a Yellow Prickly Pear.
