My two daughters and I did an "art day" hike in Betasso Preserve just outside of Boulder, Colorado and I found this little cactus to paint plein air on a 5" X 7" piece of paper that I cut on site. I added the pine cone in the studio. I used my Dad's (1925 - 2020) Windsor-Newton 12 pan field palette. It even has a #2 round travel brush in the set. Very convenient and adequate.
